Don A. Sellers

As a proud 1978 Linden McKinley High School graduate, Coach Don Sellers played on the Panthers’ 1976 State Semi-final and 1977 state title teams with Ohio Player of the year, Todd Penn.


Coach Sellers has been a well-respected NBA scout/evaluator for the following organizations: Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trailblazers, and San Antonio Spurs. He has coached the following overseas professional teams: Chinese Basketball Association, Lebanese Basketball Association, Hong Kong National Team, and served as Director of USA player personnel in Beirut, Lebanon. Additionally, won three USA minor league title Championships: (2) Rochester Razor Backs 2008/2016, (1) Continental Basketball Association, Yakima Sun Kings 1998, and (1) CNBA Championship, Changahuan Tigers.


Coach Sellers has served as director of player development/head coach at The Harlem Globetrotters Organization. Currently, he is an independent consultant/evaluator and conducts coaching clinics.


He has remained a staunch advocate for the Linden McKinley High School athletics program while sharing his technical knowledge and encouragement with young athletes at practices, before games, and during halftime breaks.
