Camp Application

The day camp consists of a half-day of physical activity and instruction, while the other portion involves a classroom and facilitator experience.

Typically, the gym instruction has been basketball oriented while the classroom environment has consisted of life skills. Examples include: financial literacy, healthy lifestyle, self-esteem building, and conflict resolution themed modules.

Alongside the classroom and gym modules, S.T.A.R.S. Youth Enrichment Program, Inc. provides our camp participants with complimentary child identification kits and dental screens. Mobile health units are available for our participants’ parents to take advantage of during registration hours.

S.T.A.R.S. Youth Enrichment Program, Inc. finds value in mobile health units because it allows parents to gather information regarding healthy household lifestyle habits, blood pressure checks, and diabetes pre-screening.
